We are a social-impact company. We started with sign language courses; today we serve over 2,000 organizations in Poland and are developing a working AI model (MVP) for sign language translation. Deaf people work on our team.

Our journey

2011
Migam begins
We start as a project teaching sign language and connecting the Deaf community with the hearing world.
2012
First neural network
Our first attempt at AI-powered sign language translation - we build our first neural network.
2015
Online interpreting services
We launch professional PJM video interpreting - the Migam Interpreter service for companies and institutions is born.
2022
MIGAM S.A. and aid for Ukraine
Transformation into a joint-stock company. From 1 March we provide free Ukrainian Sign Language interpreting for refugees - endorsed by the First Lady of Ukraine.
2023
Working PJM AI model - the first MVP
A new transformer-based approach (the architecture from the landmark paper "Attention Is All You Need") - the project’s first MVP, a sign language translation model that works in practice.
2024
US expansion
An operations and sales team in the United States, a soft launch at Stanford University, and the scientific monograph "AI in Deaf Inclusion".
2025
The global stage
We present Migam AI at NVIDIA GTC in Paris. The EAA takes effect - accessibility becomes mandatory for businesses too.

Teaching machines to sign. Since 2012.

We built our first neural network for sign language in 2012 - long before AI was fashionable. Today we pursue a bigger vision: a hub connecting sign language with communication, business, science and technology. At migam.ai we develop automatic translation into sign languages: text becomes an utterance of a photorealistic 3D avatar, with Deaf native signers and linguists overseeing every stage. We call it human-in-the-loop: AI accelerates, humans guarantee.
