Khan Academy lessons

Khan Academy is an innovative approach to education in many fields, including math, economy, chemistry, and physics. By using modern technology, adjusting the pace of learning to individual needs, and a gigantic database of tasks and lectures, Khan Academy changes schools around the world.

Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization established in 2006 by Salman Khan, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School graduate. The motto of the project is “providing high quality education to anyone, anywhere”. Participants learn via internet based tasks and mini-lectures, placed on Youtube. Such videos are characterized by:

In Poland, the Center of Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Foundation of Education for the Future, is translating the videos from their original source material into Polish, under the chairmanship of prof Lech Mankiewicz- with whom we, Migam.org, are closely collaborating.

We have the willingness, means, knowledge, and experience, to translate the materials from Khan Academy into Sign Language, in a fully professional manner.

So far we have translated 110 educational videos in math and economy, thanks to funding from Narodowy Bank Polski (National Bank of Poland), and beesfund.com.
